Our Story
August & Ivy™ began out of a simple realization: the products our family needed did not exist.
After a frightening experience in early parenthood, our founder, Katie, searched for better solutions but found little that met her expectations. Rather than settle, she set out to create the products she wished had been available to her own family.
What began as a personal endeavor became August & Ivy™, a collection of thoughtfully designed essentials created to fill meaningful gaps in the parenting market. Working with trusted partners around the world, we bring together considered design, quality craftsmanship, and an unwavering attention to detail.
Since its debut, August & Ivy has been featured in Vogue and received two national awards. While the recognition is an honor, our purpose remains unchanged: to create exceptional products for the families who depend on them.

Created by parents of three young children, our products are designed around real-life needs rather than trends. Every item begins with a simple question: why doesn’t this already exist or why hasn’t this been done better?
Guided by research, safety, and comfort, we develop thoughtful solutions that support families in everyday life. We listen closely, design intentionally, and build only what we believe truly belongs in a family’s routine.
