This Is the Diaper Bag That Changed Everything for Me
By Katie Holter, Founder of August & Ivy™
There’s a moment that stays with you as a parent.
For me, it happened after my third baby.
I was sitting in a small chair at a doctor’s office after a weigh-in appointment, trying to feed my baby while juggling everything else that comes with having multiple kids. My arms were tired, my back hurt, and I remember thinking how awkward and unsupported it felt to do something that should have felt simple.
I had what I needed, technically. A diaper bag. A cover. All the usual things.
But I still felt like I was missing something.
Not another item to carry, but something that actually made the moment easier.
I also remember how frustrating it was digging through a bag that felt like a bottomless pit. Nothing was where I needed it, and everything took longer than it should have.
I wanted something more structured. Something that kept everything in place and easy to find.
That was the beginning of IvyGo.
I didn’t set out to create something complicated. I just wanted a diaper bag that actually worked for real life. The moments you can’t plan for. A quick stop. A crowded waiting room. A park bench while your other kids play.
The idea was simple.
A diaper bag that could do more.
The IvyGo is a structured diaper bag designed to support real-life moments. When you place it on your lap while you’re seated, it gives you a little more stability while you’re holding your baby, helping feeding on the go feel more comfortable and natural.
It’s still a diaper bag at its core. It carries everything you need. But it’s designed with intention, so it can do more when you need it to.
There’s no extra gear to pack. No awkward balancing. Just a little more confidence, wherever you are.
Every detail was thought through with real use in mind.
A hidden nursing cover that’s there when you want it, and out of the way when you don’t. A changing mat that actually feels durable and easy to clean. A structured design that holds its shape and stays in place.
It’s something you actually want to bring with you, not something you feel like you have to.
Because getting out of the house with a baby is already a lot.
You shouldn’t have to think about the rest.
IvyGo was created from a real moment. One that felt overwhelming at the time, but led to something better.
And if it makes even one of those moments easier for another parent, then it’s done exactly what it was designed to do.
